Sunbeam's Parenting Pathways Builds Parenting Skills for a Brighter Future
Sunbeam’s Parenting Pathways helps support and strengthen families. We do this by offering a variety of high-quality services, with Nurturing Parenting Skills curriculum as our foundational curriculum. Additional pathways are available to parents who qualify.
Classes are offered at Sunbeam office on Classen, located at 1100 NW 14th St, and Edwards Community Hope Center, located at 1123 NE Grand Blvd.

Nurturing Parent Skills Class
A proven approach for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
Our comprehensive 12-week program provides parents engaging and informative evidence-based modules. These weekly, 2-hour sessions will help parents learn more about:
- Managing emotions and communicating effectively
- Establishing nurturing routines
- Building empathy and positive self-worth
This class helps build six protective factors for parents:
- Nurturing and attachment
- Knowledge of parenting
- Child and youth development
- Parental resilience and social connections
- Concrete support services for parents
- Social and emotional competence for children
