Sunbeam's Parenting Pathways Builds Parenting Skills for a Brighter Future

Sunbeam’s Parenting Pathways helps both strengthen families and keep families together. This program focuses on Parent Child Connections, which serves a checkpoint to see what the parent is learning and help support their learning.  

 

Classes are offered at Sunbeam office on Classen, located at 1100 NW 14th St, and Edwards Community Hope Center, located at 1123 NE Grand Blvd. 

Nurturing Parent Skills Class

Over 12 weeks (about 3 months), our comprehensive program offers parents a series of engaging, 2 back-to-back 1-hour sessions, covering 24 evidence-based modules. Parents will learn more about how to: 

 

      • Manage emotions and communicate effectively 
      • Establish nurturing routines, including bedtime and mealtimes 
      • Apply more effective discipline techniques 

This class can be customized for different audiences including parenting teens, grandparents raising their grandchildren, and parents of children with special needs.
