Emma Wassilak

Clinical Director

Emma Wassilak, M.Ed., LPC-S, IMH-E® is a seasoned mental health professional with over a decade of experience in clinical practice, supervision, and trauma-informed leadership. Since 2013, she has served in multiple roles at Sunbeam Family Services and currently serves as the Clinical Director of Mental Health Services.

A state-approved LPC Supervisor, Emma is dedicated to mentoring future therapists and expanding access to quality care across Oklahoma. Emma approaches each part of her role by integrating trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and hope-centered practices, ensuring both staff and clients receive compassionate, effective support. Clinically, she’s trained in many evidence-based modalities including CPP, TF-CBT, CPT, EMDR, ACT, and CAMS. She is an instructor for Talk Saves Lives and Mental Health First Aid and holds certifications in Perinatal Mental Health, CEAP, NMT and is an Endorsed Infant Mental Health (IMH-E®) Specialist and Reflective Supervisor with training in the RIOS® and FAN frameworks.

Emma is a frequent speaker at state conferences and leads workshops on trauma-informed care, child development, suicide prevention, and emotional wellness.

Shayla Winrow

Clinical Director

Shayla Winrow, M.Ed., LPC, PMH-C, IMH-E® is an experienced Infant Mental Health specialist and nonprofit leader at Sunbeam Family Services, where she currently serves as Clinical Director of Infant and Early Childhood Services.

Shayla offers values-driven, evidence-based supervision that emphasizes trauma-informed, hope-centered, and reflective practices. With expertise in developing professional training—she is dedicated to strengthening the capacity of families, professionals, and systems to support infant and early childhood mental health.

Her clinical expertise includes training in CPP, TF-CBT, CPT, and ACT. She is a COSP Facilitator, Certified Educator of Infant Massage, and holds endorsements in Infant Mental Health (IMH-E®) and as an Endorsed Reflective supervisor, with training in Reflective Supervision through both the RIOS™ and FAN frameworks.

Additionally, Shayla has collaborated with multiple state departments to support the expansion of IECMH service deliveries statewide. Shayla’s current focus includes training, supervision, and consultation related to reflective practice and infant and maternal mental health.

Kaydee Norton, MS, LPC, PMH-C
Infant and Maternal Health Coordinator

Kaydee brings warmth and joy to her work at Sunbeam’s Edwards Community Hope Center. A dedicated mental health professional, she holds degrees in Family Life Education and Counseling Psychology, is a certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist, and is pursuing LPC licensure.

Since 2012, Kaydee has supported families with compassion and connection, believing relationships are life’s greatest gift. As Coordinator of Sunbeam’s Motherhood Matters Program, she creates spaces where expecting parents and those with little ones up to age three find education, support, and community.

An endorsed trainer for Zero to Three’s The Growing Brain and Circle of Security, Kaydee blends Attachment Theory with playful, evidence-based practices from EFT, ACT, and psychodynamic approaches. She delights in helping parents discover the language of babies and young children, building confidence not just to navigate developmental stages, but to truly thrive and enjoy the journey together.

Brandi White
Caregiver Services Coordinator

Brandi brings dedication and heart to her role as Sunbeam’s Caregiver Services Coordinator. A mental health professional passionate about relationships, she recently earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is advancing toward LPC candidacy. She also holds graduate-level credentials in leadership and draws on two decades of experience building connections through entrepreneurial work.

Since joining Sunbeam, Brandi has supported families with empathy and collaboration, believing strong relationships create brighter futures. As a mother of three, including a child with special needs, she brings lived experience that fuels her commitment to advocacy and inclusion.

Brandi has completed training in Trauma-Informed Care, MI, HOPE, TBRI, IFS, Cultural Competency, Grief, NMT, and IECMH. She integrates principles from attachment theory, psychodynamic, and Jungian approaches to help families feel understood and empowered. Her goal is to create hope-filled, compassionately brave spaces for caregivers, laying the foundation for brighter futures for children and families.

She is passionate about working with children (ages 5+), parents, adults, and is especially committed to supporting members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Liz’s approach to counseling is trauma-informed and person-centered, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
