Sunbeam’s Early Birds Caregiver Program Supports You
You are your child's first and most influential teacher.
Early Birds strives to enhance the bond between child and caregiver with connection-based activities and learning experiences, recognizing that strong attachments are pivotal for children’s solid foundation for academic excellence and personal growth.
This Free Program is:
- Early Birds is a caregiver (parent, foster parent, aunt/uncle, grandparent, teacher, and anyone caring for young children) education program designed to help families in their journey of raising and caring for children from pregnancy to 5 years old. Early Birds focuses on skills and fun educational activities that promote school readiness.
- Early Bird classes are available in person and online in both English and Spanish
- Classes are offered 3 times per year broken up by seasons; Fall, Winter, & Spring
- Each season focuses on different developmental topics
In this 60-90 Minute Class, You Will:
- Learn about your child’s development through topics like everyday learning opportunities, activities that promote school readiness, fun caregiving techniques, and health & safety.
- Receive a gift of high-quality learning toys and a free monthly subscription to a book service through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to support early learning in your home.
- Connect with other caregivers going through similar child stages.
- Learn about the importance of connection and how play supports your child’s learning.
