Home-Based Early Childhood Services
If you are pregnant and/or caring for your children, birth to three, in the home, Sunbeam’s Home-Based Early Childhood program offers support to guide you through the stages of your baby’s development. The goal of the program is to increase your knowledge and confidence in understanding this stage in your baby’s life, strengthening your bond, and connecting you with the resources available to you in the community. Also, Sunbeam makes available opportunities for social connection. These gatherings typically include a presentation and discussion on a specific topic, but also time for parents to be around other families to share and learn from each other. When your child turns two-and-a-half years old, Sunbeam’s home educator will help you transition your child into a program suited to address your family’s needs (head start or pre-K programs) by the time the child turns three years old. This program is designed to provide children with a great start, providing a good foundation for school-readiness.
