Volunteer at OKC EducareGroups of volunteers are invited to serve in the classrooms at Oklahoma City Educare. Activities could include: reading to children, rocking infants, assisting teachers in the classroom, providing one-on-one attention to the children at Oklahoma City Educare. We have 16 classrooms at OKC Educare and can accomodate small to large groups of volunteers! Available Opportunities: Every Wednesday and Friday; 8:30 AM -11:30 AM and 2:30PM to 4:30PM Special Requirements: All volunteers must be over the age of 16. |

Volunteer at Sunbeam's Emergency ShelterGroups of volunteers are invited to spend time with the residents of Sunbeam's Emergency Shelter for Seniors and the Medically Fragile. Activities could include: chatting with residents, assisting the Shelter staff with light chores, helping to serve meals to residents, etc. Small groups of volunteers are perfect for this opportunity! Available Opportunities: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Anytime between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Special Requirements: All volunteers must be over the age of 18. |

Volunteer to Make Sunbeam BloomVolunteer groups make a big difference on the Sunbeam campus through landscaping and other activities. We love for volunteers to tend to the flowerbeds around the Senior Shelter, making the patio where many of our Shelter residents like to spend time. There are also other areas that always need some "TLC," helping to make Sunbeam a place that brings a smile to the faces of our clients and visitors. Planting flowers or bulbs brings such joy to the campus. For this group volunteer opportunity, the more is the merrier! Available Opportunities: Anytime! Weekend opportunities are available. Volunteer on the PlaygroundWe for groups of volunteers to "spruce up" the playground at Tony Reyes Bilingual Child Development Center, where Sunbeam provides Early Head Start Services. Volunteers are invited to weed, tilt the sand, edge, trim, etc. For this group volunteer opportunity, the more is the merrier! |
